The original ensuite worked, but the layout never quite made sense. Lino floors, a toilet sitting awkwardly close to the doorway, an off-centre mirror above a basic vanity, and a shower area wasting space that the room could not spare. Rather than gut the layout, this renovation focused on making the most of what was already there. A larger shower, full tiling and an updated vanity did most of it, along with a proper extractor fan, which makes more difference in a room this size than people expect. The toilet also moved further from the entrance.
The shower is the piece worth noting. The clients came in wanting a walk-in, and Amanda talked them through the alternative. They went with a large enclosed design instead, and it has become their favourite part of the room. Dual shower heads, plenty of room to move, and a sink with a sleek profile to match.
