Comfortable, Practical, and Designed for Ease of Movement

This combined bathroom and laundry renovation was designed with one clear purpose: to create a space that supports independence and makes everyday routines easier. The existing layout was no longer practical for the homeowner’s needs, so the GOFORTH team reimagined the entire space with accessibility at the forefront.

By switching the locations of the shower and toilet, we opened up the room for safer, more comfortable movement. A cavity sliding door was installed to make access easier, especially for anyone using a walker or other mobility aids. Grab rails were thoughtfully placed exactly where needed, and all selections, from fittings to finishes, were chosen to promote ease of use without compromising on style.

Soft pastel blue feature tiles give the room a welcoming, calm aesthetic, while the integration of laundry facilities into the bathroom layout maximises convenience without clutter. Every design decision was about improving flow, functionality, and the experience of daily life in the home.

This renovation proves that accessible design can still be beautiful. It is practical, safe, and built for real-life comfort, with a few thoughtful touches that make all the difference.
