Story

A Little Bathroom with a Big Impact

In a compact family home, every inch counts. This bathroom might be small on floor space, but it delivers in every other way. Designed for a young family with two kids, the renovation needed to feel calm, considered, and a little bit luxurious without sacrificing function.

Storage was a top priority, so a smart vanity with arched door detailing was chosen to bring both practicality and style. The above-counter sink sits on a soft grey stone benchtop, creating a clean, modern surface that’s easy to maintain. Brushed gold tapware, towel rack, and cabinet handles flow throughout the space, tying everything together with a sense of quiet elegance.

The free-standing bath has made daily life easier for the kids, while the shower has become the real highlight. Framed in brushed gold with a round-arm showerhead and built-in niche, it’s the kind of feature that makes the whole space feel like a boutique hotel. Big grey tiles add visual depth and a contemporary edge while being family-friendly and easy to clean.

A space that once felt cluttered and chaotic now feels calm, polished, and proudly part of the home. It’s proof that even small bathrooms can make a big difference to how a family lives, feels, and entertains.
