Story

A New Bathroom Built from the Ground Up

This bathroom wasn’t just a renovation. It was built from scratch, added onto the house where there had previously been nothing but dirt. With one bathroom no longer enough for the family, the decision was made to extend, and not every renovation company could handle a full build like this. But the GOFORTH team made the process seamless from start to finish.

The client came into the project with a clear vision: an open walk-in shower, plenty of storage, and a space that felt clean, modern, and easy to live with. Working closely with our interior designer Amanda, those ideas were elevated into a space that now feels surprisingly spacious and incredibly well thought out. From a full-length mirror to underfloor heating, floating cabinetry, and clever drawer configurations, every element was chosen to maximise function and comfort.

Rather than a standard niche, a built-in shower shelf was designed to match the look and feel of the room, with thoughtful touches like mirror-fronted cabinets for additional storage. A towel rail was integrated at the end of the shower for easy access, and even the narrow end cupboard was designed to make use of every available inch.

The room was completed right on time, just in time for visiting guests, who now have their own dedicated bathroom. It’s practical, low-maintenance, and surprisingly generous on storage for its size. With no handles on the drawers and cabinetry set off the floor, the space is sleek, modern, and easy to clean.

This bathroom has transformed the way the home functions and impressed everyone who’s seen it.
